Under new ownership of Brooklyn Magazine, created a new visual system that reflects the energy of Brooklyn neighborhoods and the eclectic personalities of the people living there. The visual language is expressive and vibrant, using unexpected color pairings, organic illustration styles, and unconventional juxtaposition of imagery.
Bkmag.com was relaunched in December 2020 and transferred into tactile magazine issues. Recently, the visual system was expanded for the first Brooklyn Magazine Music Festival: a four day event with music, fireside chats, and club shows.
